Challenge accepted!

The idea is beautiful and simple – to help children suffering from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) without delay. It is enough to do 10 push-ups or sit-ups in front of the camera, top up the young patient’s account with a payment and nominate new donors for the #GaszynChallenge.

The challenge was started by a Polish firefighter, who set the internet on fire and put the helping machine in motion. Treatment costs for SMA are enormous, and in the case of sick children, time is of the essence and every single day counts. That’s why everyone felt moved to start doing push-ups and sit-ups: policemen, firefighters, soldiers, students, officials, residents of towns and cities, and, now, the Prologis team!

Our company was nominated by Kajima Poland and we responded to the challenge immediately. We dedicated our participation in the challenge to 13 children in Poland suffering from SMA, who require fast and very expensive gene therapy. Then we handed on the baton by nominating... Pekabex and SkyConcept.

Our team was led by Paweł Sapek, head of Prologis for Central Europe, who took up the challenge at Prologis Park Janki in one of our latest projects – the tailor-made warehouse for customer EURO-net. Paweł was joined by: Renata Michalczyk, Justyna Witecka, Anna Witecka, Agnieszka Bober, Agnieszka Rożnowska, Renata Kocemba, Michał Stankiewicz and Leonard Kubanek.
